Working at ThingLab
Since our formation in 2001, we've grown considerably, however we make every effort to maintain the relaxed, enjoyable, dynamic small business atmosphere which has brought us to where we are today.
You can expect to find everyone here enthusiastic about their jobs and informed about the direction of the company. Everyone is encouraged to take an interest and contribute opinions and skills to help make each project groundbreaking and more impressive than the last. We desire happy, focused individuals who appreciate that performance is handsomely rewarded. We strive to achieve this with a range of progressive and enlightened HR policies.
We're proud of our record when it comes to work-life balance. When we're busy, everyone is expected to pull together to put the hours in, but we go far beyond the norm when it comes to a flexible approach to working hours and we're certainly not the type of company that expects our employees to work all hours day-in day-out.
Like everyone however, sometimes we need a holiday team-building weekend away. So we take one. In recent years we've made it to Barcelona, 3 ski and snowboard trips to France and a sunny beach holiday to Sardinia. We believe these trips do a huge amount for our company by encouraging a positive and happy office, and a stronger team. There are always plenty of great stories to look back on too.
Probably the simplest, but most fondly appreciated fixture, is our long-established tradition of eating out together for Friday lunch. This gives us all a bit more time to talk about non-business stuff and sample the many restaurants of Shoreditch and Hoxton.
These basic premises are an integral part of what makes Inition, well, Inition.
